Winwood, Babbitt get stars on Music City Walk of Fame.
Dave Pomeroy, President of the Nashville Musicians Association and Ann Babbitt accept Bob Babbitt’s star on the Music City Walk of Fame.

Stars for Steve Winwood and Bob Babbitt were added to the Music City Walk of Fame on June 5.Grammy winner Winwood is known for performing classic pop songs including  “Higher Love” and “Gimme Some Lovin” and has been a part-time Nashville resident since the ’80s. Babbitt is the legendary bass player and member of Motown Records’ studio band, the Funk Brothers, and has called Music City home for the past 25 years. The Music City Walk of Fame, on Music Mile, is a tribute to those who have made significant contributions to preserving the musical heritage of Nashville and contributed to the world through song or other industry collaboration.
