Social Distortion will be lending their support to this year’s Record Store Day, April 21st. The event is designed to call attention to the culture surrounding independently-owned record stores with special releases, in-store appearances and other forms of celebrations.
Social Distortion will contribute by releasing a limited run of 2,000 mint green vinyl copies of the group’s album, Hard Times And Nursery Rhymes, exclusively for the celebration. Each piece will include a “Machine Gun Blues” poster identical to the one used at the “Machine Gun Blues” video premiere in Los Angeles last April. A limited run of 1,000 of these posters will be signed by the band.
