  • TC Electronic to Offer “Noir” Version of PolyTune Mini

    TC Electronic offers PolyTune NoirTC Electronic will soon offer a limited-edition version of its PolyTune Mini pedalboad tuner. Dubbed PolyTune Noir, like the previous version, it shows the tuning state of all strings simultaneously with +/- 0.5 cent precision in chromatic mode and +/- 1 cent accuracy in polyphonic mode. It automatically switches between chromatic and polyphonic modes depending on whether all strings are strummed at once or each string is picked individually. It also has drop-D and capo modes, true-bypass circuitry, and and display the same number of LEDs as the original PolyTune. Learn more at tcelectronic.com.

    VibroKingBlackThe Fender Vibro-King 20th Anniversary Edition amplifier is available in black, blonde, and brown coverings with silver, oxblood, and wheat grill cloths. The Vibro-King 20th anniversary model features all-tube hand-wired circuitry, custom Schumacher transformers, three new Fender Special Design Alnico P10R-F speakers by Jensen. The Brown/Wheat version also has a solid pine cabinet for increased resonance.

    Origin Effects offers Cali76, SlideRigOrigin Effects’ Cali76 and SlideRig are based on the sound and dynamic response of UREI 1176 FET studio compressors. They use a Class A discrete signal path with true-bypass switching and through-hole PCB construction. The Cali76 has controls for Ratio, Attack, and a Release knob, plus a VU-style gain reduction meter. The SlideRig uses two FET compressors.
