  • Ozzy Osbourne’s “Speak Of The Devil” Set Coming to DVD

    Ozzy Osbourne’s Speak Of The Devil will see a DVD release. Filmed at Irvine Meadows Amphitheater in California on June 12, 1982, the concert is a snapshot of Osbourne’s performances in the ’80s, with dramatic staging and a setlist based on his first two solo albums and a few Black Sabbath classics. The lineup for this show features Osbourne, Don Airey (keyboards), Tommy Aldridge (drums), Brad Gillis (guitar), and Rudy Sarzo (bass). The DVD will be available July 17.

  • Jazz Heats Up Chicago’s Millennium Park Beginning July 19

    The Made in Chicago: World Class Jazz series returns to Millennium Park with Chicago’s leading jazz artists and concerts that celebrate the sounds of blues, boogie, Latin, Bop and beyond. The 2012 series includes tribute concerts and retrospectives.The free weekly series begins Thursday, July 19 and closes Thursday, August 30, 2012.

  • Benefit Concert Planned for Ft. Wayne Children’s Hospital

    The Rock and Roll Medicine Show is a night of music benefiting the Lutheran Children’s Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Acts include Eric Stuart Band, Electric Attitude, and local and Sum Morz. The concert will be held in Fort Wayne’s historic Embassy Theatre on July 13. A portion of all ticket sales will be donated to the Lutheran Children’s Hospital.

    The event is open to all ages and is family-friendly.  Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster outlets.

  • Vince Gill Sets 12 Bluegrass Shows for June

The 20-time Grammy-winner and member of the Country Music Hall of Fame  will be backed by fiddler Stuart Duncan, guitarist Jeff White, banjoist Jim Mills and bassist Dennis Crouch. Gill will round out the band on guitar, mandolin and vocals.

    Bluegrass prodigy Sarah Jarosz will open for Gill from June 13 through June 23. A singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Jarosz is most recognize for her albums Song Up In Her Head (which contains the Grammy-nominated “Mansinneedof” track) and Follow Me Down.

  • Skynyrd Set to Release New Album

    Last Of A Dying Breed  is Lynyrd Skynyrd’s  first studio album since 2009’s God & Guns which debuted at #18 on the Billboard Top 20 and gave the band their highest debut since 1977.

    Lynyrd Skynyrd will be on tour throughout the summer in North America and Europe. Led by core members Gary Rossington, Johnny Van Zant, and Rickey Medlocke, the band will welcome Johnny Colt, an original member of the Black Crowes who has also played with Train and Rockstar Supernova.
