Fender’s Sandblasted Ash Precision and Jazz basses have a new finish treatment applied by sandblasting the raw wood, leaving the surface grain textured with ruts and grooves that are then filled with a black grain-filler coat that shows beneath a Sapphire Blue or Crimson Red color coat complemented by a black pickguard.
