Origin Effects’ Cali76 and SlideRig are based on the sound and dynamic response of UREI 1176 FET studio compressors. They use a Class A discrete signal path with true-bypass switching and through-hole PCB construction. The Cali76 has controls for Ratio, Attack, and a Release knob, plus a VU-style gain reduction meter. The SlideRig uses two FET compressors.
