The Jackson JS2 Kelly Bird IV and the JS3 Kelly Bird IV basses are the result of a collaboration with Megadeth bassist David Ellefson. The JS2 Kelly Bird IV has a basswood body, bolt-on maple neck, 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with block inlays and a compound radius, dual JS high-output pickups, and a high-mass bridge. It’s available in Burnt Cherry Sunburst and Matte Black. The JS3 Kelly Bird IV has a basswood body (flame maple top on transluscent finishes), bolt-on maple neck, bound rosewood fingerboard with 21 frets and block inlays, Jackson JS high-output pickups, three-band active EQ (bass/mid/high), and Jackson high-mass bridge.
