Chris Solberg with The Rave Ups(live)
Chris Solberg is a San Francisco Bay-area musician who played guitar and Hammond B-3 in Santana in the late 1970s and early '80s, played in Eddie Money's band, then played bass on Chris Isaak's first two albums, as well as for other notable artists. These days he gives guitar and bass lessons in Berkeley while playing in a Yardbirds tribute band called The RaveUps, which takes special care to ensure an accurate sound. "Part of the challenge is that we use the same instruments, right down to the same years - within few months or so - Vox amps, and germanium-based pedals, etc.," Chris says.
