1960 Gibson ES-355 TD electric guitar in cherry finish. Just in from a private collection. Fantastic playing guitar with incredible resonance & sustain! The guitar was refretted with jumbo-sized frets which really make a huge difference in the way it plays. Aside from the refret the guitar is all original & in beautiful condition for its age. If you're looking for a true vintage Gibson ES-355 this is the one to get!
Cosmetic Condition: Great condition overall - large finish chip on the back of the body; various minor nicks & dings elsewhere; light weather checking - cool, vintage vibe!
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with binding & black side-dot markers. Ebony fingerboard with pearloid block inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Grover tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length.
Body: Semi-hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Multiple binding on the top & back. Original Bigsby tremolo tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge; gold hardware. Tortoise-style pickguard with multiple binding. There's some really gorgeous figuring in the maple on both the back & top!
