V040216 - 1989 Fender Custom Shop Lefty Stratocaster finished in Surf Green. This guitar is from the very early period of Fender's Custom Shop & is a rare find!
Cosmetic Condition: Very cool looking guitar - the green finish has naturally aged look to it with nice patina. There are some ghosting images on the back of the body from previous decals that were removed some time ago. There are some minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; light surface scratches.

Neck: Rounded maple neck with maple fingerboard & black dot inlays. The fingerboard shows some nice figuring in the maple. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Vintage style tuners in perfect working condition. There is a pin-up girl decal on the back of the headstock that is not original to the guitar.
Body: Solid alder body with single-ply white pickguard that has aged nicely with no cracks. Vintage-style tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles. Trem arm included. One odd thing about the guitar is the middle screw holes on the back of the body for the trem cover were drilled in the wrong spots. If you flip the cover around & put it on backwards, they actually line up.
Pickups: Fender single coil Strat pickups with master volume & dual tone controls; 5-way toggle switch.
