I had a lot of fun with this amp. but I need to slim down the collection (recently picked up a used Marshall Class 5). This is your classic 80s JCM800 1x12 combo (I believe it is a 1984). 50 watts, 1x12 Celestion speaker, Master Volume amp with Treble, Middle, Bass tone stack plus Presence control. This amp has that great raw sound associated with everything from classic 80s rock to the foundation of early heavy metal.

In addition, the amp was modified by James Demeter to add a second channel to the original 1 channel amp. The second channel has an additional gain stage for earlier breakup, while leaving the first channel in tact. Each channel's preamp and master volumes are controlled respectively by the dual concentric pots on each volume control. Channel selection is done by an included footswitch, the jack for which has been placed where the low input jack was. In other words, the mods were done without having to drill any holes or change the chassis.

As a result you get a 2 channel amp with a clean and dirty channel that sounds great. The amp is in excellent condition. Please let me know if you have any questions and see the link for lots of pictures.
