Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings. The skunk stripe has been removed at one time - there are two points along the stripe where it has been cut. Also the back of the neck has been oversprayed.

Neck: Slender maple neck with maple fingerboard & black dot inlays. Frets are in good shape with some light wear, but still plenty of life left in them. Tuners are in perfect working condition. The truss rod has been loosened all the way & there's a slight back bow in the neck, but the bass is still quite playable. There are two small extra holes in the back of the neck heel (see photos). Neck date is 23 DEC 72 B.

Body: Solid ash body in natural finish. There are two extra screw holes in the neck pocket (see photos). 3-ply white pickguard has faded to a cream color. There are a few cracks in the pickguard between the neck & the pickup. Double barrel saddles & string-thru bridge. Bridge cover is missing.

Pickup: Single neck humbucker with single volume & tone controls. Pots date to 1972.

Playability / Sound: Nice action (despite the neck bow) - plays well. Nice bass tone - warm & rich.

Case: Original hardshell case
