Custom made for the owner in 1980, this 12-string electric guitar is within the first 20 guitars made by Paul Reed Smith. The one piece mahogany body was made out of a 200 year old table top from the UK and the pickup was hand wound by Seymour Duncan. It has Schaller mini-pearl tuners and bridge saddles that were hand cut by Paul Reed Smith himself. Of two guitars made in this model, this is the second, the first being for Nancy Wilson of Heart. The only difference between the guitars being that, upon the owners request, the headstock was made smaller. If you search "Nancy Wilson 12 string" you will see that the headstock on this guitar is closer to what Paul eventually settled on. Included with purchase will be the original contract between Paul and the owner, the original receipt, and a custom flight case. Paul Reed Smith has been notified of the potential sale of this guitar, and is willing to verify it's authenticity.
