This is a larger sized guitar (though smaller slightly than dreadnaughts) built from the same tonal and aesthetic aspirations as the Corina. It retains an immediacy of response that is very difficult to find in larger bodied guitars. The tonal balance across the fretboard is spot on like with all of Ryan’s hand tuned guitars. The sound carries very nice hints at the ultimate dreadnaught sound; open and powerful, yet the response characteristics are immediate and much more adaptable to modern pick styles and finger styles. It is really an unbelievably enjoyable guitar. As with all of Ryan’s guitars these are hand made, one at a time. The model serves as a starting place for a uniquely tailored and finely crafted custom guitar.
