Here is another little firecracker of an amp made by Chicago-based Valco in 1964. The circuit features a 5Y3 rectifier, a 6V6GT, and two 12AX7A. All tubes are original RCAs. The speaker is the original 8" Jensen with 1964 date code.
Condition-wise, there is a little rust on the control panel, which is common to top mounted Valco amps where the chrome plating was thin The "H" is also missing from the logo.
The tone is absolutely killer. This belongs in a studio. No pedals necessary to get excellent, gnarly breakup. See video demo for more on that.
