1970 Fender Bassman Amp Head AB165 50 Watt Silverface

$ 500.00

This amp has been fully serviced w/ new caps, tubes, and the addition of a 3-prong power cord. All other components, including the all important transformers are original. Tubes are Mesa power tubes and EH/Mesa preamp tubes.

This amp sounds amazing. It is quiet. Not even the slightest hint of a hum. It sounds like a good AB165 Bassman ought to sound - very responsive and musical.

If you've been looking to get into a good tube amp but feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of modern choices being put on the market these days, it's really hard to go wrong with one of these. They are a great platform from which to build your sound. They take pedals extremely well. Crank this thing with a good overdrive pedal in the front end and a quality guitar and you're rocking.
