c.1964 Guyatone Bass Sunburst Guitar 2-Pickup Model w/ Case

$ 550.00

This is one of the coolest, funkiest basses you're likely to see anywhere, not to mention best sounding. The build quality for Guyatone factory builds from the 1960s is high when compared to some of the other Japanese manufacturers of the era. This is a great example.

All original other than one replaced tuner, which is a close match. Not sure what the body wood is (poplar maybe), but it has good weight and balance. It feels substantial, like you'd expect from a good quality bass, not at all light and fragile feeling. Neck has a truss rod and is adjustable. All electronics are in working order. Comes strung with flatwounds.

Just a killer thump machine...and rare. Definitely the right bass for someone looking to stand out in a sea of ubiquitous Fenders.
