c.1970 Horugel SG Cherry w/ Bigsby
$ 150.00
Horugel was a German company that made pianos. They decided to start outsourcing some guitars to cash in on the guitar craze of the 60s and 70s. From what I can tell, they outsourced guitars to Korea and sold them mostly in Europe although some seem to have been distributed here in the States as well.
This example is a very clean SG Copy from the pre-lawsuit era, complete with the open book Gibson style headstock. While this is obviously not up to Gibson standards of quality, it is a cool, playable, 40-year-old guitar with some stories to tell.
