c.1968 Teisco Del Rey ET-200 Tulip Sunburst

$ 150.00

The ET-200 went through several different iterations throughout its lifespan. This is the version with the black and white "tooled' pickguard,, Fender style headstock, and crown non-Del Rey logo, dating it to sometime after the Kawai takeover of Teisco in 1967.

The finish is in good shape. Someone has carved the obligatory "Anarchy" symbol into the headstock. Gives it a bit of that disaffected teenage punk mojo. The tremolo arm is missing. Other than that, it's in really good shape - one of the best I've seen. You usually find them way more best up than this.

I will be setting this one up personally, so it will be a PLAYABLE guitar when you buy it. Frankly most of these, when you find can them, are only useful as baseball bats or makeshift weapons until you do some serious setup work.
