Here's a very rare bird indeed, a 1977 Music Man Stingray ll. It's all original; nothing altered, changed, or repaired. This guitar has active electronics that run on a 9 volt battery. The electronics are fully functional. It has an alder one piece body covered in a transparent walnut stain. The finish is a light Nitro. I think this color combination is very rare because I have never seen it before I found this one. Most Stingrays I have seen are clear coat over an ash body. These guitars have a reputation as being heavy, but this one weighs in at a little over 8 lbs. Very similar to a Strat. It has a maple neck and fret board. The neck is a 7.25 inch radius. I see no obvious wear to the fret board surface. The back of the neck is smooth and without flaws. The frets are in really good condition. Sale includes a hard case.
