This might be the only chance you'll ever have to own one of these. This is the amplifier Premier Guitar recently hailed as the "coolest amp of all time." http://www.premierguitar.com/Magazine/Issue/2010/May/Gibsons_Western_Frontier_The_1955_1958_GA_70_Amplifier.aspx

Only 1 unit was shipped in 1955, and only 159 were shipped in 1956. In 1957 the amp was completely redesigned, top to bottom and only 98 were shipped that year with only 74 going out the final year, 1958. Gibson only shipped a grand total of 332 GA-70 amps from 1955-1958. Suffice it to say it's RARE. By contrast, in 1956 alone Gibson shipped 920 Les Paul Standards and 459 Les Paul Customs.

This example had the tolex worn off long ago and has been refinished in natural, which is kinda awesome because you can actually see the beautiful Redwood and fingerjointed construction normally hidden by tolex. The original tolex, while also pretty cool looking, was thin and prone to wear.
