1974 Rickenbacker 4001 electric bass guitar in walnut finish.

Cosmetic Condition: Cool vintage vibe - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & buckle rash on the back of the body.

Neck: Maple & walnut neck with nicely aged, cream-colored binding & red side-dots. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard with triangle pearloid inlays. Frets show some light wear, but still have plenty of life in them. Grover tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 33 1/2" scale length.

Body: Neck-thru design with solid maple wings & bound top. Top-loading bridge with adjustable saddles; string mute pad has deteriorated. Single-ply white pickguard - small crack near the neck pickup.

Pickups: Rickenbacker single coil bass pickups. Dual volume & tone controls; 3-way toggle switch. One pot dates to '73, all other are '74. Mono & Stereo outputs.
Playability / Sound: Nice, low action; smooth, comfortable neck; classic Ric bass tones!

Case: Original hardshell case included - slightly modified with interior padding.
