Description: 1960 Fender Jazzmaster electric guitar with original gold hardware! This is a guitar we sold about a year ago to a local customer. At that time the original finish had been completely stripped off the guitar along with the headstock decals. The customer we sold it to had the guitar professionally refinished in Olympic White by local luthier Denny Rauen, who also added new headstock decals & refinished the neck.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall - the original parts have aged well with a nice patina & only one minor crack in the pickguard near the bridge pickup. The gold hardware has tarnished quite a bit, but is still evident.
Neck: Maple neck with rosewood slab fingerboard & clay dot inlays. Original frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Replaced nut. Original gold Kluson Deluxe tuners in perfect working condition. Neck date is 7-60.
Body: Solid alder body with original 4-ply tortoise-style pickguard. PAT PEND tremolo tailpiece with original trem arm. Original six-saddle adjustable bridge - missing its cover.
Pickups: Original Jazzmaster single coils with original cloth wiring & pots. Pots date to '59. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
