These original Silverburst Customs are rare and getting harder to find all the time. If you can ever find an original one you better snatch it up.
This example is in great players condition with tons of mojo. There are several dings in the finish. The silverburst has turned a classic greenish color with age. The back has belt rash. The previous owner said the paint was almost entirely worn off the neck from play wear, so he stripped the little paint that was left off to the Zakk Wylde Custom specs and Tung Oiled it. It is smooth as a baby skin and is an absolute JOY to play. I can certainly believe the paint was worn off because the frets were barely even visible bumps when I got it, so I refretted it and gave it a setup. It's ready for another 30 years of hard jamming now.
This is an amazing guitar to play. It just feels right in your hands - like a broken in vintage Gibson should.
