The Embie-Matic was born from an early guitar bridge design, patent applied for in the late 1940's and only produced until the mid 1950's. This bridge has been improved upon using new materials, and made more versatile, with three different base options to choose from. From archtops to solidbodies, floating or permanent. Modern plastics replace the mid-century bakelite pieces. The resonant musical qualities of high-grade aluminum is unmatched, bringing out perfect harmonic undertones in every application. The Embie-Matic celebrates the original prototype design intended to be light, resonant and smooth to the palm. Each bridge is made and assembled in St. Louis, MO. Each bridge body is anodized and engraved with it's own serial number. The first run, numbered 001-050, is on sale now. For perfect intonation and a classic look, it's the Embie-Matic!
