1964 Gibson Firebird III electric guitar. We recently acquired this guitar from another dealer - Jimmy Wallace - who informed us the guitar was professionally refinished by Tom Murphy in an aged Frost Blue. Tom also lightly relic'd the guitar as well with various finishe chips & light weather checking.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar had a headstock crack that was professionally repaired & looks very clean now. There are some small cracks in the pickguard. The Firebird logo has worn off the pickguard & the Gibson logo has worn off the truss rod cover.

Neck: Nicely rounded, medium-profile mahogany & walnut neck with rosewood fingerboard & pearloid dot inlays. Original frets are in great shape with no wear. Nickel, banjo-style tuners in perfect working condition. Neck is straight & truss rod is in fine working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length.

Body: Neck-thru body design with mahogany wings. Tremolo tailpiece with compensated bridge; 3-ply white pickguard.

Playability / Sound: Nice, low action; smooth playing neck; gorgeous mini humbucker tones!
