1973 Ernie Ball Earthwood acoustic bass made in Costa Mesa, California. We've had quite a few of these basses over the years & this is the only the second we've seen in this super huge size!

Cosmetic Condition: Overall the bass is in pretty good shape. There are various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some finish checking.

Neck: Slender maple neck with walnut binding. Maple fingerboard with rosewood dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Bound headstock with "E" logo. Chrome Schaller tuners in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 34" scale length.

Body: Massive acoustic bass body! Solid spruce top with solid walnut back & sides. Rosewood binding on the top & back. Rosewood bridge with maple cap. Double rosewood pickguards. 18" lower bout width; 14" upper bout width; 8 1/4" depth.

Pickup: After-market Barcus Berry acoustic pickup installed with 1/8" input jack.

Playability / Sound: Nice action - bass plays & feels great! Massive sound to go along with its massive size! Rich, deep tone with big sound projection & tons of fun to play!
