1942 Epiphone Electar Zephyr 7-String Lap Steel Electric Guitar

Condition: Various surface scratches and dings throughout finish. Neck looks great with very light scratches on the fingerboard. Though the pickup shows a low ohm reading, the guitar has plenty of volume and presence. All parts and electronics are original and in good working condition.

Body: Solid body with flat bottom, rounded edges and graduated shoulder bouts in original black and cream finish. A wood panel on the back provides access to the electronics. All nickel hardware with plastic control knobs.

Neck: Solid square neck with one-piece metal control plate/fingerboard with silver frets/fret markers and a 2.5" metal nut.25.5" scale length.

Pickups/electronics: Original single coil pickup with master volume and tone controls.
Playability/Sound: This is a somewhat rare model Epiphone lap steel. The 7-string design makes it highly versatile for different playing styles and tunings. The controls have a great range and are both highly useful for warming up the sound, or getting bright twang.
Case: Includes original hard shell case.
