1954 Gibson CF-100E acoustic electric guitar in sunburst finish.
Cosmetic Condition: Cool vintage vibe with an authentic relic look. Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, nice weather checking & some finish wear. There are a couple of top cracks near the control knobs that have been professionally repaired & are stable. Slight seam separation down the middle of the top, just behind the bridge has also been repaired. Slight bridge lift on the bass side, but the bridge is stable & very secure to the soundboard.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with nicely aged, cream-colored binding & tortoise side-dot markers. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays. There's some minor pitting in the fingerboard in the first few frets, but this does not affect playability. Original frets have some light wear & plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners in perfect working condition with ivoroid buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 25" scale length.
Body: Single Florentine cutaway, small body acoustic. Solid spruce top with mahogany back & sides. Bound top & back; Brazilian rosewood bridge with bone saddle; tortoise-style pickguard. Approx 14 1/2" lower bout width; almost 4 1/2" body depth.
