This guitar plays beautifully and sounds like a vintage Gibson Jumbo Body should - woody and balanced, with great projection and a round bottom end (just like we like our ladies, right guys?).

The cherry sunburst finish has faded over the years into a sweet honey, lemon burst. Surprisingly, there isn't much finish checking on this one. Usually, Gibsons of this vintage have tons, but this one doesn't. It does have its share of dings here and there, as you would expect, but nothing that screams "abuse". The good news is playability isn't going to be an issue on this one as it can so often be on old Gibsons because the neck has recently been reset and it's just been refretted. This wont need work for a long long time.

It comes with a very nice period Gibson Hard Case with attractive pink interior and key!

Here is a video I made demonstrating the tone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0fGUcBvLK8&feature=youtu.be
