1952 Gibson SJ Southern Jumbo Acoustic w/HSC

This guitar is gorgeous! It was refinished by Gibson at some point, and the pickguard was replaced with the later style, non-teardrop form, as were the tuners. The guitar was also setup with a new nut and saddle. The fretboard leveled. New frets. There are a few small cracks on the top and back that have been reglued (not cleted), but they are nothing serious and should not spread further.
Tonally, these old Gibson acoustics from this era have a tone that's OUT OF THIS WORLD! If you consider yourself a guitar player, you owe it to yourself to pick one of these up. It has that characteristic woody, boomy tone that has defined Gibson Acoustics, but with a mellowness that only comes from age and being lovingly strummed by someone over the course of decades.
