Thorell “The Grand” Flattop S/N 09-067, Turquoise Rosette, First Thorell Grand Auditorium LOW SALE PRICE
$ 4,399.00
It took me a long time to find the perfect guitar. I'm 57 and have been playing since age 13. There were certain things I needed, like a wide neck, and things I wanted, like good resale value. I'd owned many acoustic and a few electric guitars. Finally in 2009 while shopping for a Taylor I was advised by a Taylor salesman to contact Ryan Thorell the luthier of Thorell Guitars.
Ryan's shop was like a candy store...so many types of wood. I saw him at work and played one of his guitars. I ordered one after consulting my wife and we waited...as if waiting for a baby....for nine months. This is the guitar that I picked up from Ryan.
Owning a small business where I sell a guitar seasoning device called primeVibe, which was inspired by this particular Thorell Guitar, I hardly have time to play anymore. If you buy this guitar you will be getting much more than you will be paying.
“I have been playing guitar for close to forty years now. The first 20 years, I was playing on a 58 D’Angelico New Yorker. The next 20 years on Benedetto’s. From now on I play the new FV model built by Ryan Thorell. It produces the tone I want and the feel and look are so artful.” -Frank Vignola
