This is the exact amp (the very one) that Rick Perotta and Mark Sampson used to model their Matchless after. I bought it from Rick (when he needed the bread.)

Legend has it that Rick had a Neve console, and Albert Molinaro (Guitars R Us on Sunset in Hollywood) needed use of it. Rick cut a deal with Albert to find him the cleanest AC-30 on the planet - in return, Albert got the Neve to complete a project. This is the amp Albert found for Rick.

This is the cleanest AC-30 I've EVER seen. Also, the best sounding.

I once offered Albert $10,000 to find me another one this clean. He brought one or two in for me to look at, but nothing came close.

I don't do anything with this amp - it deserves to be worshipped - so I've, reluctantly, decided to sell it. I'm sure I'll regret this decision, some day.
