This is an amazing 1971 Martin D41.
It was looked at by Martin and a tech from a local store.
Both give it a clean bill of health.
The action is 3/32 at the 12th fret low E
2/32 at the 12th fret high E
The frets are great and the neck is a straight as could be expected on a 40 year new D41.
This instrument has a full neck and a full sound.
The only item not original is the pick guard which features the famous Martin Crack from the original curling.
She ships in her original black case.
There is lacquer checking on the top only with a marking in the finish to the right of the pick guard, the upper lower bout and the right lower bout.
Just the right amount to add to her vintage charm.
At some point a strap button was added and the saddle replaced with bone.
