Wanted:Baldwin classical/acoustic electric guitar

Contact Hendrik Sibma

I'm searching for Baldwin classical/acoustic guitars. Most of them are from the 1960's and 1970's.

One model is called '801CP'. It is pumpkin colored and has three rings round the sound hole instead of a traditional rosette. Most of them also had a brass colored pickup with the name 'Baldwin Prismatone' on it. This model is based on a Harmony H-174 guitar. Some of them have a serial number on the back of the headstock. Sometimes with "174-B" in it or something.

Another model is called '800C'. The wood is lighter then the 801CP. This model has a traditional rosette around the sound hole. Also this one had a brass colored pickup with the name 'Baldwin Prismatone' on it.

If you look Inside the sound hole of these guitars, than there must be a label with the name of the model of it and sometimes a serial number and also a picture of a person playing a guitar.

If you or anyone you know has one of these guitars or maybe another Baldwin for sale, please don't hesitate to contact me by e-mail.
