Description: 1940's Rickenbacher Electro Grey Metallic Burst Lap Steel Guitar

Condition: 100% Original. Excellent condition. The finish has some chipping on the bridge cover which has been sealed to prevent further chipping, and a few scratches and light hazing along the edges and back. Overall finish looks great. Original electronics, controls, and tuning machines in perfect working condition. No structural damage or repairs.

Body/Neck: Guitar shaped steel body and neck with original "Grey Burst" finish. Original bridge, single coil pickup, pickup cover, controls, and electronics. Square shaped neck has raised frets with white dot fret position markers, and original nut. Headstock features "Rickenbacher "Electro" metal logo, and original vintage open geared 3-on-a-strip tuning machines.

Pickups/Electronics: Original single coil pickup with one volume control, and one tone control. Single coil pickup: 1.65K Ohms.

Playability/Sound: This lap steel is incredibly easy and comfortable to play. The hollow steel body design offers great round and defined tone with great attack on notes. The tone control has a great range of roll off for different tones, and is positioned so the player can create "wah wah" sounds with their hand.
