Description: 1966 Mosrite Ventures Model Electric Bass Guitar
Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & lots of weather checking. Some finish on the back has been worn off from play. All electronics are original and in perfect working condition. No structural damage or repairs.
Body: Double-cutaway, solid-body "German-carve" design, finished in three-tone sunburst. Fully adjustable individual-saddle bridge (cover is missing), wood/metal tailpiece; 3-ply mint green pickguard.
Neck: 30 ½" scale length; bound maple neck with black side-dot markers. Rosewood fingerboard with micro dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear; zero fret; metal nut - 1 9/16" width. The guitar's serial number is pressed into the fingerboard at the last fret. Headstock features original Mosrite closed-gear tuning machines - all in perfect working condition.
Pickups/electronics: Original slant pickup in the neck, and original non-slanted pickup in the bridge. Single volume & tone controls; 3-way pickup selector switch. Unoriginal tone knob.
Neck Pickup: 9.94K Ohms. Bridge Pickup: 9.56K Ohms.
