Gibson 1997 /1960 Les Paul Classic. These Les Pauls have the 1960 slim profile neck, said to be faster and easier to play. The Vintage sunburst color was a $200.00 extra on this Classic model. The two original ceramic magnet pickups have been changed to Gibson's 1957 Classic alnico magnet pickups ($100.00 each) which give a much warmer sound and more of the tone you may get from the original Gibson P.A.F. pickups found in Gibson guitars made from 1957 through 1960. The bridge and saddle have been upgraded to Tone Pros locking types which increases sustain. This guitar has no buckle rash on the back and has only a small pencil tip ding on the front lower bass bout. Comes with original purple lined hard case and original ceramic pickups should you want to change them back.
This guitar has that Les Paul tone and sustain that comes from a solid mahogany body with carved maple top and rosewood fretboard.
The custom upgrades along with the vintage sunburst color make this the guitar you won't want to stop playing and playing and playing.
