Up for sale here is a vintage 1982 Peavey USA T27 Natural Ash w/OHSC.

These are fantastic guitars for the money. USA-made and a workhorse. Ash body, two piece maple neck with maple cap fretboard, Peavey Ferrite pickups, Deluxe Kluson tuners, CTS pots dating to 1982… Very well built and an absolute pleasure to play.

The case is missing the foam, but most of these cases are missing the foam after 30 years. Easy and cheap to replace if you want to do so.

BEING RELUCTANTLY SOLD FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION:

A RARE GUITAR IN NEAR-PRISTINE CONDITION. DEFINITELY SERIOUS COLLECTOR/MUSEUM GRADE (EXCELLENT +).

The Gibson ES-150D (1969-1975) was the only double cutaway, true hollow body Gibson with humbuckers. It is very similar to the later ES-335, but with a massive, 3″ wide hollowbody. The 1970 Gibson catalogue described the guitar: “This popularly priced addition to the Gibson line is a real show-stopper. The hollow body arch top guitar features an exclusive double Venetian cutaway design that contributes to ease of playability.”

Features: Two humbucking pickups, four volume/tone knobs plus a master volume knob, three-way pickup toggle, triple bound top, single bound back, bound fingerboard with small block inlays, peghead crown inlay. Very light at 6 lb. 11.5 oz. Case a little over 10 lbs.

Fewer than 285 Walnut finished ES-150 Ds were made in 1970. This serial number is162553. It is 100% original, including the frets which are like new. I have seen other Walnut ES-150 Ds listed for sale recently, but none as perfect as this one, including one with an asking price of $6,500.

You will not find a Vintage guitar in better condition. It is all original and exceptional. There are only two tiny blemishes: a very small mark on the top rear of the headstock, and a minute finish indentation, centered on the back of the neck near the octave “double dot.” Two surface scratches can be seen on the back if inspected carefully. That’s it! The first two of these hardly-noticeable marks are shown on the enclosed photos. The scratches are too insignificant to see.

The neck is straight, all electronics are great, and the instrument plays perfectly. The guitar looks as good as it does without ever having been detailed. Any minute scratches present in the body finish are those that would disappear with buffing/detailing. There is no cracking or crazing anywhere in the finish.

The acoustic properties of this guitar are unbelievable, sounding great without amplification. The OHSC is also in fine condition, it is complete, and includes the original lock key.

Very rare as Martin only made this model for 2 years.  Made of Brazilian rosewood & Adirondack spruce.  This one is in very nice shape with no cracks, good neck set, and surprisingly little wear for it’s age.  To the best of my knowledge, it’s all original with the possible exception of the nut and saddle.   Even the original case is in good shape.
