0 Monteleone Grand Artist custom
This mandolin was originally custom ordered by me with some extra appointments. Select woods , Violin Red color with dark binding and died wood purfling. The neck is more of a vintage F-5 s profile and dimension with a compound radius, slightly flatter than Monteleone’s standard radius. The sound is bell like and exceptionally beautiful. Action is perfect . It is housed in a custom Paganoni Loar vintage replica case contoured for the Grand Artist. An exceptional instrument .The color seems to wash out on the web, the last photo with scroll closeup is the most accurate.

1922 Gibson F-4
A Very fine sounding truss rodded F-4. This is the earliest Version with the truss rod cut through the double flowerpot inlay. Easy action. Two minor repaired hairline cracks ,one near the scroll and one under the pickguard. These do not compromise the structural integrity of a fine playing mandolin. Very pretty curly maple back and sides.
