The 2012 Woodstock Invitational Luthiers Showcase will be held October 26-28 at the Bearsville Theater and Utopia Soundstage in Woodstock, New York. The event features contemporary acoustic guitars and stringed musical instruments exhibited by their makers. Visitors can meet builders, discuss instruments, and take in continuous live music. There will also be an exhibit of rare and significant historic, vintage and contemporary instruments loaned by major collectors. A portion of any proceeds will benefit The John Herald Fund, Family of Woodstock, regional food banks and local soup kitchens.
