Jimmy Herring will release his second solo album, Subject To Change Without Notice, August 21. The album includes eight original songs and several covers with special guest appearances by Bela Fleck, Bill Evans, Nicky Sanders, and more.
Prior to releasing his first solo outing, Lifeboat, HERRING was known for his improvisations, long flowing phrases, and highly charged, yet soulful, lead guitar. The founding member of The Aquarium Rescue Unit, Project Z and Jazz is Dead, Herring has also performed with The Allman Brothers Band, The Grateful Dead, Phil Lesh and Friends, and Bela Fleck. He currently serves as the lead guitarist for Widespread Panic.
